I have always loved Julep nail polishes. I first subscribed in 2013 for the very first because it had a deal for your first box. I have been skipping the month since then and then this month, I forgot to skip and ended up with the box.
Honestly, Julep’s nail polishes are pretty good and worth the subscription, but for $20USD, it just wasn’t worth it. Especially when the rate from USD to CAD, the box came up to $27 which I felt it just wasn’t worth the price at all.
But since I forgot to skip this month, I will do a review on it.
Each month, you will get 2 nail polishes and a beauty product. I have seen skincare, beauty and much more. You also get to choose a theme, which I think mine had something to do with being classy. I do admit, their nail polishes are pretty good that now they are available in many places including Sephora.
This month had two nail colors, Jocelyn and Arielle, and a Creme-To-Powder Eyeshadow Stick in Bronze Shimmer.
I’m actually pretty impressed with the Eyeshadow Stick, I haven’t tried it on the eyes yet, but the color is gorgeous and the staying power is pretty good. I have left it on my arm for a few hours already and it’s definitely not smudge-able. It claims to have a waterproof formula that doesn’t crease and based on how it is on my arm, I am definitely impressed.

The nail polishes are definitely pretty. The purple is something I have always wanted and the red with the shimmer is perfect for the holiday season coming up.
Overall, I probably won’t re-subscribe anytime but I will definitely pick up some nail polishes once in a while whether it’s on sale or if I see something super nice. Thank you for tuning in and talk soon!
